Biography
With Tormod Løkling from Norway and Henrik Moreborg from Sweden, the EDM pop producers joined melodies in 2016 to become The Uniøn in honor of the union their two home countries once had. After working as independent producers for ten years with many Swedish songwriters and artists such as Herbie Crichlow (ZAYN), Eric Turner (AVICII), Marli Harwood (KYGO), they’re excited to have found each other and create music for themselves instead of giving it to other artists.
Their first single, “No Good for You” on the Dutch KnightVision label, is about feeling not deserving of a romantic partner because of an imbalance in the amount of love each other gives. Before meeting by chance at a party, Moreborg started playing music since childhood but it came later for Løkling after an unexpected twist that broke his ankle in a Football (Soccer) game ended his dream of being a professional Football (Soccer) player. While healing, he taught himself piano with an old one he found in his cellar, studied production and later met Moreborg who had been signed to a publishing company in Stockholm. At the time, they were both looking for another producer to collaborate with and now, the producer duo is set to release more catchy pop songs.
